Hello Doris - This has to be the same family. The given name Benjamin is used over and over. I don't have the whole Burchett family in my papers. I can't find George Washington Burchett and Mary Hunt in my papers. I do show an Elizabeth Burchett born 10 March 1861 d/o John Burchett and Unknown. John Burchett married two times - first wife not listed but two children from this marrriage are Ellen and Elizabeth. It appears Elizabeth Burchett did marry Charles Ransom Workman but verification is needed. The parents of John Burchett are Benjamin and Elizabeth (Watson) Burchett. This is now a matter of wading through the Burchett gedcoms plus posting to Floyd, Lawrence, and Carter Co., KY lists. (Elizabeth is shown as marrying Charles Randant in my papers but that is too close to Charles Ransom Workman.) In short, I am sure these are your Burchetts - now a matter of pinning them down.
