Perlina did marry James Harley Browning on 30 Sep1885. They were divorced and I do not believe she ever re-married. Harley married 2 more times - on 19 Aug 1913 he married Laura Dotson; about 1916 I belive he married Victoria Grimmett. In the VRR records it says (re: Harley & Victoria) that the certificate was destroyed so it's unclear if they actually married but I think they did. Harley's marriage to Laura Dotson was new information to me. Hope this helps! Laura, I can not read what was directed to but I do know for a fact Perlina never married again and that she lived with her daughter Maude Long at Cherry Tree W.Va for most of the last years of her life. We visited her each summer. There is a little about her on the Cherry Tree site. She was nick named "Pliney". She was my great great grandmother also. Brenda's grandfather George Browning and my grandmother Lena Browning Smith were children of James Harley and Perlina.     3. Regarding the Hartzell and Sheets connections in the email below- I live just outside of Alliance Ohio and these 2 family names are plentiful around here still. There is a road and a cemetery named for Hartzell. I know the Hartzell family name is also known in the Youngstown area in Mahoning county Ohio.
