Dodie, the grandaughters, sisters and mothers are all the same person = 2 corpse fathers, sons and brothers are the same person = 2 corpse plus the 2 grandmas = corpse Grandma must have had two sons who married two mothers who had 2 female offspring. Beulah and Virginia, 2 sisters marrying two brothers was pretty common in "olden" days, but that would be 4 people and they couldn't have granddaughters in the mix. Brothers marrying sisters would make the girls nieces not grandaughters. We have TWO grandmothers and TWO grandaughters. We know there was a total of 6 people. I see it as 4 females and 2 males. Lets see if someone else figures it out before I tell you what I think. You have to "think outside the box" to figure it out. (I bet Demi Moore could fugure it out <grin>).
