No text in your message ; about the Mcdowell co mines : I never worked in them. Mine were all in Logan co Wv. My wifes's uncle worked at the old Bradshaw mine. He boarded at nearby War. The town was aptly named; every Sat Night there was war in the town; when the miners got paid they were busy fighting each other, after some drinks in the saloons !
