Hello all, I am a subscriber to the publications of the Goldenseal and Wonderful West Virginia Magazines....maybe many of you out there are also....It would be great if many of you, who love to tell these wonderful memories, would do so and write them down, and submit them with some COPIES of photos from your youth that would be in relation to your stories, to these magazines....Being that we have all enjoyed your stories, it seems such a shame that you deny the whole of West Virginia in not reading about your youthful experiences and knowledge of the past. The most recent issue of the Goldenseal features a story of Jim Mullins, born in Lincoln Co., WV, a son of John and Martha Mullins. Jim is a brother to Teaberry and Vernon Mullins. This is the same Jim Mullins for whom I wrote about several months ago, that I told the story of my mother and two other young men in their teens, in the late 1940's on a Halloween night, put up a road block and they all got into a fight with some older guys who stopped, and my mother's great uncle John Lucas came to their rescue just about the time one of the older guys was going to punch my mother in the face..... http://www.wvculture.org/goldenseal/ Think about it....Your memories make great reading. And they certainly need more from the Logan Co., WV area.....
