Oh, please don't hush, Rick! If it weren't for this list, I would have never learned so much about this MTR evilness. You see, I have never lived in WVa, but my dad was born and raised there. He is buried in Logan County, and I'm hearing things from certain relatives that the mining companies want to come in to the area where he is buried, as our dozens of my family members have been buried there for over 150 years (Hoover Fork of Harts Creek). It has been speculated (and I HOPE it is only speculation) that the cemetery may have to be moved. Outrageous. I hope this subject does not offend anyone as being off-topic, as I find it very ON TOPIC for a genealogy list. I'm off now to check out the website that Gracie sent, and I'm composing my letter now to Gov. Manchin. I tear up whenever I think of that beautiful state being raped by these coal companies.
