    2. That's OK Anetia. Glen Rogers has an infamous past. There was a day (time) when no one who didn't live there, went into Glen Rogers after dark. I picked up several people killed inn the mine for Robertson/Foglesong Funeral home and used my red lights for "safety" purposes. This is not to say that MANY fine families lived there then, and still do. One of our Governors lived there at one time and several prominent writers and professional "hillbillies" . I understand that Mark Twain may have made a visit when he was in the Mullens area. There is lots of good history of Glen Rogers and someone should be researching and recording this.
