    3. Hi Beulah, Do you remember the Bloody Bones story as you heard it? There was also one about a man with a "head as big as a wash tub and eyes as big as churns", but I can't remember that one either. Dodie --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Get on board. 3. Dodie, no I don't remember the story either, however, I will talk to my older sister and I will ask her. She may remember and there is another person I can ask. I will let you know if I get the story or any part of the story. 1. Re: [WVLOGAN] For Shelby & Other "Youngins" Fat Man

    3. Dodie, I remember one that my aunt told that sounds similar to the man with the big head. It was called "Oh, Fat Man, Oh Fat Man What Did You Eat?' [He ate the whole family, except for the baby. When he tried to eat the baby, the baby climbed a tree, Fat Man followed, fell, burst open and all the family popped out hollering "I'm Free!"] The Appal Shop recorded a version back in the eighties. She also told one about Johnnie who was sent to the store to get some salt and instructed not to cut through the graveyard. He did, of course, and was followed home by a haint that finally got him. This one goes, told with suspense, "Johnnie, one step I'm at the gate, the door and so on"..... until it culminates with a big "GOTCHA!". Sorry I haven't been in touch for awhile, old friend. I have a new job that has been really taking up a bunch of time!
