Hello - I noticed the name Burchett in a posting. I have a Burchett line. I haven't researched them very far back but have info on them. They lived in what is now Bland Co., VA around Walker's Creek. This would be around Big Walker Mtn. The family moved to Eastern KY in the early 1800s. Some of them went over to now Jackson Co., WV in the mid-1800s. If anyone needs info on the Burchetts, I will post what I have. Rick

Rick: I would love for you to post what you have on the Burchett line. My Burchett line came from Floyd County, Ky. and married into the Cartmell line from Floyd County and Lawrence County, Ky.
