EDWARD OSBORN IN 1813 KILLED THE SHERIFF MORGAN OF FLOYD COUNTY AND HIS SON. THE LEFT THE STATE OF KENTUCKY WENT TO OHIO TO LIVE. THIS IS A STORY IN THE HISTORY OF BIG SANDY BY WILLIAN ELY MAX
Thanks Max Sorry everyone, I just don't know the Wv family history. My connections with all the relatives from Wv. came west in the 1870s so most of what I read here is all new to me. Love reading all the family stories. I have gotten e-mails from newly found cousins about my grandparents. Some have brought tears. I was soo young when they passed. For whatever reason, I don't remember anyone talking about my ggrandparents. I have learned a lot since starting genealogy. Some good, some bad. I plainly came by my temper naturally. lol Gracie ----- Original Message ----- From: <Cartwright1512@aol.com> To: <WVLOGAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, July 27, 2006 7:32 PM Subject: Re: [WVLOGAN] BURCHETT surname > EDWARD OSBORN IN 1813 KILLED THE SHERIFF MORGAN OF FLOYD COUNTY AND > > HIS SON. Hi: Interested in the "Burchett line" since my 4th gr. grandmother was Elizabeth Burchette who married in to the Cartmell line from Lawrence County, Ky. Would love to exchange info. Thanks a bunch.
