Ada, Don't you love the Tamarack store! When I have gone to Hawk's nest I have save my pennies to spend in the store and never get as much as my eyes think I want. Glad you got to go. Judi Ada G. Hi, Judi, What is Hawk's Nest? Duh! I just looked in my handy West Virginia Encyclopedia and saw that Hawk's Nest is a state park, the scene of a tunnel disaster, and a strike. I imagine Judi must have meant the state park! Hi, I figure Judi meant the state park. We used to stop there when we would leave Lincoln County (Hamlin) and go on to Roanoke VA to visit other family. I haven't been to Hawk's Nest since my daughter was about 2 and she is now 20, which means we have never had my son there at all since he is only 16. Jane H.
