    3. I received a question through my website regarding the existence of the Elkins Cemetery in Bruno. There is some rumor that a road has gone through it and the graves removed. Does anyone know if this is true and if so where the graves were moved to? The next question I have is where is Bruno? I have not heard of it.     3. Someone asked me about my grand aunt by marriage Essie Elkins born 1910 Boone or Raleigh Co.     3. Hi Debbie, I started this same deciphering of census' about a year ago, and found some interesting stuff. My computer crashed last December, but thankfully I am a scribbler and wrote most of my stuff on graph paper.   This weekend is kind of hectic, but I will pull my research notes from the storage box and let you know what I have.     2. Debbie: I am related by marriage to Zahariah Elkins ; His son, James D. Elkins, married my great grandmother(Louisa Jane Workman), in Boone co. WV, 1887.They were both elderly, and had no issue. They are buried in the Elkins cemetery on Hewitt Creek, Boone co. WV. Thanks for the post. Rick, As I stated in another email (to Shelby) my great grandfather's first wife was Eliza Jane Meadows b. about 1872 in Boone County.  Earlier reseach I did on Eliza says that she was the daughter of George Meadows and Julia Ann Lawrence. They also had a son named Charles who also married in Fayette County. He married Arminta "Mentie" Treadway, cousin to Jesse who married Eliza.
