    3. Sandi, June 24 is this week end. Would you like to have copies of my book Burgess, Mullins, Browning, Brown and Allied Families I would be happy to send them - Normally I sell them for $20.00 but would sell them for $10.00 just to cover my costs. Wish I could go - but I live in Arizona. Let me know. A Mullins Cousin Reunion will be held Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Chief Logan Park, at shelter no. 6, from 11:00 am to dusk. These are descendants of Nathaniel Mullins. Genealogy and family tree sharing; live music. Barbara Mullins Kral of Chicago, Ill., is coordinator...she requests that it is Picnic style....and that everyone try to bring enough food and/or drink to share. (Knowing that many will be traveling far, most families living within Logan area, bring lots of food). I, and my husband's family will be there. My mother in law was a Mullins. She remembers so much, and loves to tell her family's history. Everyone invited! Sandi __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! 1. Re: [WVLOGAN]Shelby-- about John Maynard
    2. Sandi
    3. Hi Shelby, I know it is unlikely, but would you remember if this John Maynard had Harts Creek connections? If he ever mentioned his parent's names? Or any family member's names? Sometimes it is helpful in making connections. The John M. Maynard I am inquiring about, was born about 1886, if his age was listed correctly in 1910. There were two sisters that Ulysses Grant Nelson b. 1869, had, that could possibly be John M. Maynard's mother. I would have to check in the Lincoln and Logan County birth records under Maynard for the proof of this, and the marriage records for these two sisters to a MAYNARD. I have not taken time to do this as of lately. Though, considering Lincoln County's records are not complete prior to 1910, I may not find what I am looking for, unless these persons came in to give their information in a delayed record. Thanks so much, Sandi --- BurgessWV@aol.com wrote: > I remember a John Maynard at Chapmanville; b. > 1890-1900. 3. I worked a help desk for years... It gets much worse than this.. There was the story going around about a Wordperfect tech support person who after the whole conversation found out that the customer's problem was the electricity was OFF. He told the person to pack up their computer and take it back to where they bought it and tell them he was too stupid to own a computer. He got fired, but there is some truth to it. I still own a computer business and the sometimes I really have to wonder about people. We certainly referred to it as the Scout Camp at Chief Logan when we went there in the 40's. Any idea as to where that might have been???????????????
