James C. Burns b. 7 Oct 1854 d. 15 May 1931 was married to Alice A. Lewis b. 17 Dec 1859 d. 12 Dec 1920. James C.'s death cert lists JC Burns as the father, no mother. Alice A. Burns did not list mother or father. I know Hallie provided the information when James died but I don't know if he was correct. I have not been able to located the James and Alice Burns with the children from the 1900 census anywhere else. Do you think the 1900 census could be wrong? The heavier ink makes me think this, but not 100% sure. Would love to find the second family.
