Rosabel (Rosa) Holley Johnson was born Aug. 20, 1875 and died Nov. 19, 1929 in Huntington. She was a daughter of Edgar and Margaret Holley from the Mud River area. In the 1900 census, Rosa is living with her parents and listed as a widow with two children, Lillie and Charles E. Johnson. According to Charles' death certificate, his father is also Charles Johnson. In 1910-1920 census' , Rosa is in the same area living among the Johnson families with the addition of Dewey, b. abt. 1906, Garnet, b. 1908, Robert, b. 1911, Alma, b. 1913, and Pearl Johnson, b. 1915. She continues to be listed as a widow. Garnet's death certificate lists only her mother's name - Rosa Johnson Robert's obituary lists all the siblings above with the addition of Jettie Heck. I've yet to find anything on Jettie. I can't seem to figure out how Rosa can be listed as a widow in each census but continues to have children by supposedly the same man, Charles Johnson. I sure could use some help on getting this family line straightened out. Thanks Lora
