I have not heard that Strauder and his children went by the Pauley name, but that is not to say it did not happen. I do know that Susan later marries an Allen and has several children by him. Rumor has it that Strawder was illegitimate, perhaps a Pauley was the father. I have a picture of Strawder and Nancy if you are interested.
