I would love to have the picture! My mother remembers Strauder and his family and does not recall that they ever went by Pauley, either. I do believe that Strauder was probably the son of George Pauley, but why the family would use the Holstein name for everything else and then give Pauley on death records is a mystery to me. I think it would be a pretty big coincidence for two little boys to be born in McCorkle on the same day and both be named Strauder and nothing is ever heard of this Strauder Pauley until he dies and is buried at Pine Grove, no headstone found, while there is no death record for Strauder Holstein who is buried beside his wife at Pine Grove and whose son gave her name as Nancy Holstein Pauley when she died. I need to go back and check the year of death for Strauder Holstein on the headstone. The death record for Strauder Pauley is, I think, 1947. Another researcher shared a picture of George and Serepty (Nancy's half sister) with me, and my Mom and her brothers were so thrilled. They were very close to their grandparents but had no pictures of them as everything was lost in a fire in the 1950s. Would you be interested in this picture, if I can still find the file? I wonder if the two women look alike? Many thanks, Lora
