My grandmother was living in Branchland when she died so in the death location box I have entered Branchland, Lincoln Co., WV. However, she actually died in Huntington, Cabell Co. I'm wondering if most people are entering the place the person was living when they died or the place they actually died when the counties or even states may be different from each other. And good example of how it can confuse things is one ancestor who had been living in Lincoln Co. when they died was impossible to find any records of her death because she actually died in Ohio while visiting her daughter. The family file I received had her death location listed as Lincoln Co which explains the long delay in finding any info on her death. I was looking in WV the whole time. I know either the death information or last residence can be put into the notes field but I'm just wondering which location most people enter in the death box. Lora
