One is named Tilda, I assume that this is short for Matilda, who was b. Jan. 1883. If memory serves me correct Joseph and Lemma were married in Wayne Co., WV, but I am not sure. The Porter's moved to Wayne Co. just after the Civil war from Pike Co., KY, and then around 1883 most of the clan moved to Lincoln Co. where they settled on various farms. Hope this helps
