He was the son of David Lawson and Lovy Plumley Roach. David and Lovy marr Dec 1862. I have a copy of the marr record. William H Bird would be a child of Silas Bird and his first wife. Silas and Lovy had no children. They must have been marr bet 1880 and 1900. 1880 is the last known place David Lawson appears and by 1900 Silas and Lovy were on the 1900 census in Putnam Co. They are also found on the 1910 Lincoln Co census. Pollie (Mary) the child on the 1880 census of Lincoln Co is the child of Lovy and her first husband William Roach. The others were David and Lovy's. If you happen to run across any info on David Lawson or Lovy Plumley Roach Lawson Bird such as a death record or burial place, I'd really appreciate hearing from you.
