Jordan McCormakc divorced Ruth McCormack 29 Sep 1874 in Boone County. Jordan received children: George W., Frances J. and John S.W. McCormack. A friend who goes back into the family says Ruth had a red haired baby and Jordan didn't think it was his. When the child was older he could see he was mistaken. Boone Co. Genealogical Society published the divorce records through 1906 in their Jan 2006 newsletter. That left the last 50 years private.
