I'm having difficulty in locating information b/c the info I need dates back to the 1800's. I'm looking for her maiden name. Her son, my great grandfather's name was William Perry Ramsey, born 1836 and died June 1947 in Lincoln county, more specifically Midkiff, WV. Supposedly she was full blooded Cherokee Indian and I'm looking to verify this info by obtaining her Maiden name and hopefully matching it to the Baker Rolls. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
