I'm trying to identify the parents of Romie H. Plumley (1902-1983). Romie had married Elsie M. Holley and they had a son named Ivan K. Plumley. All three are buried in the Porter cemetery, Myra, WV. I think Romie's mother may have been Jeanette or "Nettie" E. Edwards. She was a daughter of John and Elizabeth Edwards. According to the 1920 census, Nettie had been married to Jerome Adkins for 3 years. She had 2 children and one was living. The child, Roma Plumley, age 17, was listed as step son to Jerome. Jeanette E. Adkins, 1884-1921 is buried near Romie Plumley in the Porter cemetery as well. According to the death certificate, Jeanette Adkins is indeed Jeanette Edwards. Who was Jeanette's first husband, Mr. Plumley? Thanks, Lora
