I'm trying to locate the father of Romie H. Plumley (Dec. 20, 1902 - Jan. 1983). Romie was most likely born in Lincoln Co., a son of Jeanette Edwards. He died in Boone Co. Jeanette was still single living with her parents in the 1900 Lincoln census. So, assuming they married, Jeanette and Mr. Plumley would have married after the 1900 census was taken and he died(?) before 1904 - 1907 time frame. By 1910, Jeanette was married to Jerome Adkins and Romie is listed as 7 years old. In 1920, census shows Jerome, Jeanette and Romie Plumley, now age 17. Both census they are still in Lincoln County. Jeanette died in 1921. I'm hoping someone living in the area, who may frequent the genealogy library, could check for an obit on Romie Plumley looking for his father's name. Romie was married to Elsie Holley and one of their children was Ivan Keyster Plumley. They are all buried in the Porter cemetery, Myra, along with Jeanette E. (Edwards) Adkins. Thanks Lora
