I thought the purpose of the message boards was to inquire about genealogy issues, not to post and malign the character of someone who may have a valid reason for not responding to e-mails, phone calls etc. Things happen in peoples lives that tend to interfere in research such as illness, death in family etc. I have found nearly all websites have a "last updated" notation on them. I always take this into consideration when I e-mail for information. I also call libraries in advance to double check that they have the books/reference material I am seeking as things happen in libraries as well. I consider it extremely rude to post a "no thanks" to anyone for any reason whatsoever on these message boards. All of us have been frustrated and disapointed at times when we do not find what we are looking for. I have traveled to OH and WV from Texas and never found the information I wa! nted, but didn't feel the need to get vicious about it. I suggest you get over it. I have found everyone to be most helpful when they are available. Oh, and another thing, although I do live in Texas now, I am a native of Lincoln County and.........you WILL catch more bees with honey! P.S. No response needed......
