Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZCC.2ACE/1314.3.2 Message Board Post: Patty, there was no misunderstanding. 1) I never said the genealogical society was part of the library, 2,) I never expected anyone to be there from the society or the library to wait on me hand and foot and 3) if Elwanda is no longer the president and the person who made the site is MIA, maybe the site needs to be taken down bc it is doing more bad than good. If a site tells me there is going to be all these books down there and I am under the impression the site is maintained, I'm driving down there to look at those books, only to find out the whole thing is a crock. What's been done is done, but from this point forward if you want to continue as a "society", something needs to be done in an effort to continue. Maybe invoking officers from out of state rather than the few people down there that don't care? There are enough people on this message board who could do a better job. Now we can all go round and round about "attracting more bees with honey" phrases, but all I'm ! speaking is the truth. And to whoever this Lynette person is, I am MORE than willing to help anyone with any information I have( and I have been helping ever since I signed up for this)..sounds to me like someone is just bitter and wanted to say something imortant.
