Looking for info on Alwilda Roberts, born around 1877, daughter of S. B. and Mary Roberts. She was married to Ulysses S. Stewart in Lincoln Co, W. Va. around 1893. Three children were born - Blanche in 1894, Madge in 1897, and George in 1899. She was not listed in the 1900 census with Ulysses, so she must have died after George's birth in 1899. Any info you might have would be appreciated.
Michelle, The only Dean's I know of are on the message you replied to. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. Kim

Hello, I'm looking for some information on the Richard Lovejoy shown in the Scott District; Putnam Co., 1880 Census. It indicates wife Nancy and children Jas H., Victoria, Ira Benj, Lovy and Richard L. Really searching for information on the son Jas H. shown as 14 years. Was this James H. married? If so, who did he marry? Did Richard and Nancy have an older son named Albert? If so, did he later settle in PA? Sort of grasping at straws here. Trying to find our 'unknown' Lovejoy who died in 1890 (as a young man?). Jean Hendricks cjh1@charter.net
I am Jenny Wiley's gggggg granddaughter. I have the family tree back to 1732. Would love to share info with you if you dont have it already. Jan
Hi! I'd be interested in knowing more about your Cora Elizabeth Egnor/Agnor. The Egnor spelling is used in WV, whereas the Agnor spelling is used in VA. I'm trying to trace all Lincoln Co, WV Egnors (which comes from the Rockbridge Co, VA Agner/Agnors--but the WV line migrated from Rockbridge in the early 1800s). Do you know your Cora Elizabeth's parents/grandparents? --Celia :o)
Kristal, Is the Anderson Lovejoy who married Ellender Etherton the same as the one who married America Smith? I have both in my database (though not direct line) and need to know if I can merge them. Would be interested in the Lovejoy info on Richard's ancestors. Anyone have a maiden name for Jane? I searched yesterday for info on Josephus and ancestors, and some of the info was different (not necessarily conflicting) and much did not have any sources. Read on for how I relate... Elsie, if you see this too....Hi again! I just got information yesterday that tells me my Andrew Lovejoy is a younger brother of your Anderson! (If you'll remember our email before, Uncle Noah Adkins' daughter Shirley was raised by Rosie). You'll have to update me on your line again, though I'm sure I've got your email here somewhere--I'm in the midst of reorganizing, again. Thanks to another cousin I have a picture of my Andy Lovejoy, does anyone have any of Anderson or any of their siblings? Another cousin is looking for one of brother Richard. I look forward to hearing from the both of you. --Cuz Celia :o)
My grandfather was John Henry Stanley, born 1857, His father was Martin Stanley born 1920. Last record of either was in Wv. Seeking any further information.
Hi, Yes, Linda Dotson has graciously volunteered to take over the Lincoln County, WVGenWeb site. I have found that I haven't had enough time to work on the site and didn't think that it was fair to everyone that visited the site. I will still be helping Linda (when she asks). I have enjoyed working on the site for the past 5 years. I hope that everyone visits the site and sends Linda some email for suggestions as to what you want to see on the site. Welcome aboard Linda Dotson! I truely appreciate not only you taking over, but also for all the hard work from James Adkins. Two heads are better than one! Thanks Jim for sticking around to help Linda! I live in Calif., and wish I knew how I could help! The website is a must for those who can not travel to Lincoln co. WVA. My first request for Linda is to see if she can found out anything about the Four Mile Creek Baptist Church which was built in 1871, supposedly by my Harless line. At one time it was named Harless Creek Baptist Church. A picture of this church would be a nice item to the Lincoln Co. Website! Just a suggestion! Supposedly Perry Green Adkins supplied the lumber for this church according to Mrs. Lois Raymond Adkins who lives on Harless Creek Road out of Branchland! Thanks again, Sincerely Kathy Lynn Huntington Beach,Calif. << Hi, Yes, Linda Dotson has graciously volunteered to take over the Lincoln County, WVGenWeb site.
