Hi List: I am searching for information on the family of Samuel Van Gundy and Martha Jane (Martin) Van Gundy. These people were my husband's great grandparents. He descends from them through their daughter, Causba Jane (called Causbie), who married first to Barrett Adkins, then to Seth Conley. The other children of Samuel and Martha Van Gundy were William, Henry, Clinton Walter,Lecoty, Lucie, Maryetta, Emas. Son Henry Harrison had children Ellis, Vessy and Delsa. Several of these families use the surname Gundy, rather than Van Gundy. Any info at all will be most appreciated. The above children were listed on the 1900 Census for Lincoln County. I would like very much to find descendants of John and American Sowards Mullins who settled in Lincoln County sometime after 1880. John was my gg uncle, the brother of my g grandmother, Sarah Mullins. John and America had at least 3 sons, Henry, Emory and Harlan. I don't know of any other children. John also had a sister Nancy that I have not been able to locate after 1860 in Pike County, Kentucky. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Two months later in July she was put up for adoption at the Davis Shelter in Charleston. The adoption records say that her mother was Juanita Anderson and that she was married to a John Davis of Phili. she said she was living with and Arthur Hunt family while pregnant. I can not find any evidence of a juanita Anderson or the marriage. Any advice. Does anyone know of a relative with a secrect etc. Please help I want to find my grandmother before it's to late. Any stories about traveling shows? Patricia's adoptive parents say the paster of their church said that a young girl in their church got pregnant when a traveling show past through Charleston. The paster asked them to adopt the baby because their baby had died. They were Harold and Thelma Park. Thanks
