Boy, this has been a challenge! And I'm still confused? Nathan Cremeans had a son named John W. Could the W. be Willis? DON't KNOW? I found a John and Willis who both married a Nancy. The 1880 Census has Willis who was living next door to Nathan Cremeans. He is a few years younger than John W. Cremeans, but in the 1860 Census Nathan does not have son named Willis. So, I'm not sure how Willis is connected, but Nathan Cremeans does have a 22 yr Old Nathan Cremeans living with him in the 1860 Census and he doesn't show up in the 1850. So, here are the CENSUS's for this line from 1850 to 1880. Click here: Creameans Marraiges http://www.cremeans.net/maindatabase.html zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 1850 CENSUS: Nathan Cremeans age 36 Elizabeth A age 38 Louisa age 10 Virginia age 9 Mary E. age 7 Martha F. age 5 John W. age 1 1860 CENSUS Image 197 of 199 Ancestry.com CREMANS, JULIA State: WV Year: 1860 County: Cabell County Record Type: Federal Population Schedule Township: Thorndyke P. I am hoping that during this Memorial Day weekend when some of you visit cemeteries in the Kanawha area maybe you will be on the lookout for Russells for me? I am trying to find information about Mary Agnes Midkiff Russell she was a wife of Lafayette Russell. I know he died in 1900 in Lincoln County but do not know where he is buried. Mary Agnes Midkiff Russell died sometime later. Also am looking for a burial spot for Nancy Browden COBB RUSSELL she died in 1899. She may be buried beside her first husband Leonard Cobb. I am especially looking for burial information about Sirena TURLEY RUSSELL she died about 1863 and she was a daughter of Jack Turley and Elizabeth Lively and the wife of Samuel RUSSELL. I am also looking for his burial spot. He died about March 1883 on Forks of Coal River. I am told that the river was flooded from hill to hill and they could not get him to the cemetery (probably Forks of Coal Cemetery) so they buried him "someplace else" I sure could use some help with these. Everyone have a great weekend and stay safe. pat
