I have been told by old timers that Emily Roberts was a sister to Victoria Roberts who married Lee Hollandsworth. I know that Thomas Roberts wife was named Emily. I have not found a daughter Emily on the census with Thomas and Emily. Does anyone have a complete listing of Thomas Roberts and Emily's children? I was told he was the first merchant in Lincoln County. Thanks hope someone can help me Pat
I am trying to find out the parents of Samuel Harris who was born in either 1848 or 1852? He said on his marriage application that he was born in Cabell County. I cannot find a trace of him until 1873 when he married Emily Roberts in Cabell County. They then appear on the 1880 Census of Lincoln County. Does anyone know who his parents might have been? I have come to the conclusion that maybe Samuel was his middle name. Pat in Florida
I have been trying to get hold of patty in South Carolina. I know some of her sisters do research too. If you know why she has not been getting her email please contact me? I am worried about her. Pat Adkins in Florida
