    1. [WVLINCOL] CHANDLER marriages, census , cemetery, obit Help Please
    2. G. Miller
    3. PLEASE, can anyone help me with research on my CHANDLER line. I have a death date for Thomas "Floyd" CHANDLER of 2 May 1897 with burial in the CHANDLER Cem. From the 1880 census I find Floyd & Margaret (nee ELLIS) CHANDLER have children: William B. b.1860, James M. b.23 Oct.1861 d.3 May 1919 m.Evaline & is buried in the same CHANDLER Cem. as his parents, & Sarah A. b.1864. Would anyone have the 1900, or 1910 census for a look-up William B, & James M. CHANDLER?? Would there be an obit available for Floyd d.1897 & James d.1919?? Would there be a marriage for Sarah A. CHANDLER after 1880?? Also Floyd has a brother John b.1837/38 m. Margaret Jane ELLIS1860, the 1880 census (the most current record that I have on them) shows children: Thomas, Henry C., Olia A, George F., Eliza M., Minerva J., Arra B., & Adora A. They are living in the same Harts Creek area as Floyd. Is this family on the 1900 & 1910 census?? Is John in a Cemetery listing?? Where is Harts Creek area located in Lincoln Cnty.?? Would any of the children be listed in the marriage books after 1880??

Also looking for Frances "Franky" (nee BALLARD) RUCKER, she could have been buried under the name BALLARD. Franky BALLARD was born abt.1770 & is on the 1850 Boone Cnty. census, with son Thomas CHANDLER. Mary (nee WORKMAN) CHANDLER also died in VA/WV & may show up in the cemetery book, she died 22 Dec. 1856. Please if anyone has more inf. on this family I would appreciate any help. Their parents are Thomas & Lucy (nee WORKMAN) CHANDLER. I don't know the father of Thomas but his mother was Franky (nee BALLARD) RUCKER. Thomas came to Missouri about 1870. 3. Hi Listers, Is anyone researching the line of John C. TRIPLETT b. ca 1825 in VA and his family who were in Lincoln Co, WV in 1910? John C. and wife Mary E. had 3 known sons (all b. in KY): Elbert F. b. ca 1877, Bellford ("Bell") b. ca 1878, and Keenan b. ca 1880. I recall Dad delivering groceries to Lizzie (as she was called in the area) and Lowell, her brother or nephew, I am not sure which. Do you know a Presto in her family? She married a Workman and I have her grandchild in class. Perhaps I could connect you to her if you would like. Send any info to me at my e-mail: cdbryant@hotmail.com How are your Nelsons related to the McCanns. My maiden name was McCann and we are related to the Nelsons. 1. [WVLINCOL] Albert Wilson/ Bertha Miller Wilson
    2. Dena
    3. I haven't posted in a long while. I however am still unable to locate this family after 1900. Albert Wilson was the son of John Dock Wilson and Marinda Adkins. I have Albert and Bertha living with Albert's parents in Lincoln County,WV Union Disttrict in 1900. Albert , I was told, was a conductor for B & O Railroad and was killed in the mid-20's as he was crushed between rail cars. I have Bertha's obit from my Great-Uncle but do not know which newspaper it came from. She died somewhere around 1960-1970 as a result of heart attack when she walked in the funeral home to see her son lying there deceased and she was pronounced dead right then and services were held later that day for Mother and Son. Albert and Bertha had several children , but I don't know all the names. One of the children being my great-grandmother Myrtle Wilson who died when my grandmother was 1 and 1/2 years old. My grandmother's father took his children and moved away after his wife Myrtle's death in Winfield, WV in 1930.I have Myrtle's death cert which states the parents, I just can't find not even one little bit of info on these two. If any of this sounds familiar I would love to hear from someone. Thanks, Dena in FL McCallister, Wilson, Adkins, Ball, Miller __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
