It's on page 42, in the Troy Adkins article. "Later the railroad waited for supplies to catch up to them at a halfway point between Huntington and Logan. On 11/29/03 Kat Midkiff posted a story about an article which appeared in the Huntington paper 100 years ago which was about Hanna Greer Adkins. She and her husband must be buried some where in the upper Mud Rive area. Does anyone have a way to find the location where she and her husband Samuel Adkins are buried? Its a brand new year and I thought I would post my surnames in hopes there is someone new who might connect with my families. RICHARDSON (OSCAR & Martha Russell) Born 1855 had 11 children in Lincoln County ROBERTS (Henry and Catherine Tucker) lived in Sweetland he was born about 1852 MILLS (Cathy and Odel) children of Helen Tucker Mills and step children of Charles Columbus Roberts. Charles Columbus Roberts was a son of Henry and Catherine and he was the father of Clarence Roberts and Fitzhugh Roberts, Clarence was my grandfather. I would love to hear from anyone who maybe remembers him. HARRIS (Samuel and Emily Roberts) trying to find out who their parents were. Samuel was born about 1857. I believe that Samuel and Emily were married 1873 and had a lot of children and I believe a lot of the Harrises who live in Lincoln County probably connect to them. Their daughter Annie married a man named Robert Lee Adkins.(My husbands grandparents) HOLTON (Christina who married Thomas T Adkins about 1845 and then Lisare Holton who married Thomas T Adkins about 1864 or so and finally Belinda Holton Pierson who married him as well. ADKINS Thomas T Adkins was a son of William Adkins and Sarah (WHO?) Thomas was born Feb 1818 and was living in 1900 of Lincoln County with a son named William A Adkins. Anyone else out there connect to this man. He had lots and lots of children. McCALLISTER (Cynthia who was a daughter of Richard McCallister and she also married a Richard McCallister. NIDA (James Wesley) I think almost all of the Nida connect in some way so would love to hear from some who have Lincoln COunty relatives. SMITH (Samuel who was married to Mahala Adkins about 1847. They had lots of children some I think were yours and mine and ours. SMITH ALEXANDER who married Juliantes Hager. GRIFFITH (Franklin P and his wife Molly Russell) HAGER (Jerusha was a daughter of Lucy Oxley and Lorenzo Hager HAGER (Juliantes daughter of Major John Hager she married Alexander SMITH. L E VAUGHAN He was born about 1857 son of D M and Martha James VAUGHAN. He married Anthelia Smith/Adams/Vannatter and they had three sons Alex, Lonnie, and George Garfield before she died before 1910 and then he married Bertha DUTY. They had three sons. Would love to talk to anyone who has ever even heard of L E Vaughan. I think his name was Lonnie Edward Vaughan. Would love to hear from anyone who has any information about any of these people.
