She is standing with two other women identified as Effie Adkins and Victoria Sowards. I have no clue as to the date of this photo, but am guessing it to be in the late 1970's-80's. It was taken at a Fourth of July celebration. Gracie is on the left but I'm unsure about the order of the other two women. Would love to share this photo with anyone researching ADKINS or SOWARDS. Its in .JPG format. The original was scratched a little but the scan came out pretty good. E-mail me at [email protected]

It was supposed to take place on Saturday April 21. Thanks. Jane (Spurlock) Hoholski

    1. [WVLINCOL] Need suggestions for additions to local history project
    2. Phyllis Kirk
    3. As the school year is winding down,I wanted to post a last minute message asking for suggestions from you as to which cemeteries you'd like my Project 2000-2001 students to gather and add to the Harts web site. They have several more in progress that aren't posted but have time to gather a few more before school is out. If any of you have a particular family or surname you'd like for us to check,we will. Progress has been slower this year because the class consists of mostly 9th. grade students ,and it is a very small class. Plus, this class had the responsibility of creating a new school web site,so their time has been divided. However, a lot of the kids from last year's classes continue to help us. We added some new features ,and with the help of "internet" folks have been able to add pictures and annotations to some of last year's cemeteries. The Appalachian studies will not be offered next year,so I'd really like to wrap-up and add whatever we can this year. Thanks to many of you on this list, we've had a very good two years. We haven't forgotten all the help and support from you who patiently worked with us on web building and re-placing some of our stolen equipment last year. I hope ,in some way, we've helped you in return. Suggestions welcome, Project 2000-2001/ Harts High School _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
