Nancy Ruth Tudor Hollandsworth – I too am searching for her grave. She was my great grandmother. William Crawford, her husband, is buried in my father’s family cemetery, Cox Memorial Cemetery, in Nicholas County. She passed in Sutton (Braxton Co.) but at one time William Crawford owned property near Birch River and the Cox Cemetery. His second wife, Martha Crews, is buried in Richwood I think. After visiting your site, I found it cumbersome to obtain data from. The families I would be most interested in however do not seem to be in this group (as my family mostly came from other areas with some ending up in Lincoln County). Years ago, I kept my information in Roots Magic, preferring it over FamilyTreeMaker and others. I also generated a web site, as it was so simple to do. Right after I had just paid for my shiny new upgrade to Roots Magic 4, I discovered a program that changed things. It is not a desktop software, however it can also be setup to operate as one. It is for online use on your own site (i.e.-not through a service on someone else's server), is inexpensive and truly amazing: The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding (or TNG...(not TMG)). If you are interested in a whole new and exciting experience in genealogy presentation and the possibility to customize at will, check it out. You'll be glad you did. I'm just one happy user of it. He first discovered him in Pennsylvania, but he is traced through the US census 1820 in Mason County W.Va, 1840, 1850, and 1860 in Cabell Co. Claimed birthplace in Virginia. Married to Sarah or Mary Williams born about 1795 and died in Lincoln Co W. Va. Daughters May Jane and Emily Married Blackburn McComas and James McComas respectively. Son George W married Sarah E. Saida Curry, wife of Charley Curry, died 24 Nov 1927. Her parents are listed as Charles Dingess and Shude? Dingess. This may or may not be our Sadie Curry. The author lists Lydia Eveline "Shug" Adkins as the mother of Sadie Curry. I think your grandma was right as most of the evidence supports her statement. Sorting this out took me pretty much all day so I really hope you are still on Ancestry and will read this post.
