Hello Everyone, This family was on the 1900 Census for Lincoln County, Washington District, West Virginia. Does anyone know who Launia J. Clark's parents & sibling were? I am trying to find some information on someone named Virginia B. F_______. I have just recently located a cemetery in what is now Roane County, but was originally part of Kanawha County. The cemetery is located outside of Uler, WV, and there is only one tombstone there in a cemetery of over 20 graves that are unmarked. The only information that was legible on the stone is as follows: [headstone] Virginia B. dau of Wm _____ 18_____[1819 or 1879?] [footstone] V. B. F. I believe this was probably a child because it lists the relationship as a daughter - not wife, or mother, etc. This stone has been nearly demolished due to equipment being driven over it. I am hoping to restore the cemetery, but do not know who might be buried here besides my gr-gr-gr grandfather, his wife, and 2 of his sons. They were Hensley's. Can anyone help? Aaron Hensley originally purchased 600 acres on a dated filed in Kanawha County for this land in 1848. Is anyone familiar with this family, or is anyone missing a Virginia B. from their records? Help! Also, does anyone know where I can get information on legalities of "grave desecration"? Is their any legal recourse regarding the preservation of these old cemeteries when they are on private land? Thank you in advance... Kelly Hensley
