As for people asking about marriage records, there are some posted on the Kanawha County page of www.usgenweb.org . Click on states, then WV, then Kanawha County. The State Archives can help you with marriage records, although they do charge a fee. There is a link to the State Archives web site on the Kanawha County page as well. I have had good luck in getting records from them, although my mom went over there in person and asked for what I needed. Lisa
