McCormick. The 1890 census of Kanawha county shows the family as being headed by William MCCOMMIC. My grandfather was William's son Henry. I know that he was born and spent his entire life in the general area of Marmet/Cabin Creek/Paint Creek, WV, being born in the head of Field's Creek, Winifrede.
