He is also listed in 1860 Census records for Kanawha County, VA/WV . In 1870 Kanawha County Census records, he may be listed incorrectly as Abner Canterill. The surname may be also listed as Cantrell or Cantor in some records. Abner Cantrell married Amanda Pritt on 15 March 1861 & they had 3 children before her untimely death in 1869.
