I am planning on popping in to Charleston for a few days of intense research. I need to hit the Archives & the Historical Society. I am looking for advice on where to stay that is cheap & close to the Cultural Center. I would rather park once & walk so as to minimize expenses. If this isn't possible, then a list of reasonable places to park in the area would be helpful. I would love any other recommendations for research also. Thanks so much for the help.
