    3. Dear List Members, Can anyone tell me where to find out more about the BREAM family and their salt manufacturing company which was in existence in 1820? The following is the information I have located so far. My William GRAHAM would be 15-16 years old in 1820, his father had died 1815-1818, and I believe he was living with the BREAM family. In a biography on Christopher Bream GRAHAM, it states that his father, William GRAHAM was one of the first manufacturers of salt in the Great Kanawha Valley, having begun when a boy with Major BREAM. In the 1820 Census, Kanawha, VA, I find a James Bream with the following: 2 males between 16 and 18 12 males of 16 and under 26 21 males of 26 and under 45 1 male of 45 and up 1 female of 10 and under 16 4 female of 16 and under 26 2 female ages 45 and up People in Manufacturing: 33 Jeanette Graham French
