Seeking information on Belle McDANIEL, born about 1869 in W. Kanawha County, WV. This lady is my great grandmother. She first married a gentleman bearing the last name of Rose. She was a widow when she married my great grandfather, Robert E. Thompson, on April 2, 1892, in Fayette County, West Virginia. In the 1900 census, Robert and Belle were living on Sixth Avenue in Montgomery, WV, Kanawha County. There were three children listed in this census: Soprona, Modest, and Ernest. Belle must have passed away sometime after June 1900 and July 5, 1902, when my grandfather, listed as a widow, remarried. I have never been able to locate anything on the daughter, Soprona, either.
