    3. I've been reading the different postings concerning the Great Flu Epidemic at the end of WW I. My grandfather died in 1918 due to that epidemic and during my research on my family history I have came accross 10 others that died in 1918 all with-in months of each other. Does anyone know how many deaths there were in the Kanawha Co area as a result of this flu epidemic. Mike Shaffer

    3. Along with the same subject. I don't know how many were killed that year, but I was wondering if anyone had found any newspaper articles regarding the epidmic? -- Cara (Gregory) Showers Anchorage, Alaska [email protected] From: "MIKEandSALLY" <[email protected]> Organization: Microsoft Corporation Date: Fri, 8 Jun 2001 14:15:51 -0700 To: [email protected] Subject: [WVKANAWH] Flu Epidemic Resent-From: [email protected] Resent-Date: Fri, 8 Jun 2001 13:12:56 -0600 I've been reading the different postings concerning the Great Flu Epidemic at the end of WW I. 3. I guess i should have clarified. I meant any newspaper articles that were written in the Charleston newspapers in 1918. I'm sure there's plenty of them. Would be interesting to hear what they were saying while the epidemic was going on. -- Cara (Gregory) Showers Anchorage, Alaska [email protected] From: Cara Showers <[email protected]> Date: Fri, 08 Jun 2001 11:48:14 -0800 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [WVKANAWH] Flu Epidemic Resent-From: [email protected] Resent-Date: Fri, 8 Jun 2001 13:50:14 -0600 Along with the same subject.
