Made me think of a somewhat-related story I've shared before but I think may bear repeating here. In about 1951, when my daddy, Adrian Gwin, was starting out his career as the Roving Reporter for the Charleston Daily Mail, he interviewed a Kanawha Valley centenarian, Mrs. Estaline Bryant, "born Estaline Hutchinson on Muddlety Creek about eight miles out of Summersville." Present for the interview were members of the next five generations below her: her daughter, Mrs. Martha White; Mrs. White's daughter, Mrs. J. H. Bryant; HER daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Whitman; then the gg-g-dau, Mrs. Bob Drake with her baby, Terry Lynn Drake, then three years old. Estaline Bryant said to him, "That little one down at the end--she's so far down the line she's not very much kin to me, is she!" :-) May the fun of finding family never fade, and may each one you rediscover find new life in Jesus Christ.
