Thanks to everyone who responded to my lookup request. This is the first time any of my family have shown up in Lincoln County. I'm embarrassed to admit , I had to look up a WV map to see where Lincoln County is located. In 1900 Robert was listed in Kanawha County, Jefferson district. He may have moved there to be closer to his only son, William L. Amos who was living in the Union District. I don't have a real handle on how close the different districts are to each other.
