Elijah HICKS was born abt 1799 probably in Kanawah Co WV. He was married 1st before 1817 to an unknown lady. He had a son in 1817 named John and a daughter named Isabella in 1818. Elijah HICKS married Elizabeth FARMER in Person Co NC in 1822. They lived there until after 1842 and were in Murray Co GA before 1850. He and his sons John and James Madison are listed on the 1860 census of Johnson Co AR. By 1870 Census they are listed in Perry Co AR Elijah HICKS died in Washington Co AR abt 1880.
