I believe it may be somewhere in the surrounding areas of Charleston. My G Grandfather was killed in a mining accident in 1919. Family sources said he was killed at the Cabin Creek mine. The Cabin Creek district is a very important locale for WV history. It was one of the first areas settled after western Virginia opened up for settlement. My Morris ancestors settled there, in a cabin of a man who was killed and scalped by Indians just previously. That might have been the cabin in the subject.
