JONES Published: April 12, 1996 The Charleston Gazette SCOTT DEPOT - Ofa Howard Jones, 78, of Scott Depot died April 11, 1996, at the home of his daughter, Donna Sanders, Dunbar, after a long illness. He was retired from Union Carbide, Institute, was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 73, St. Albans. He was a member of Charleston Odd Fellows Lodge, Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Charleston, Grace Baptist Temple, St. Albans and Teays Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Also surviving: daughter, Judy Steele of Sevierville, Tenn.; son, Michael Howard of Berlin, Md.; sister, Marie Fogarty of St. Albans; brother, Monroe of Charleston; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans, with Dr. John D. Smith, Pastor Bruce Young and the Rev. John Cremeans officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
