I am trying to find out more info on a Charles C. Thomas (b: abt. 1839 in Jersy City, NJ) who married Emma M. Gibson (b: abt. 1857 in Greenbrier Co.) in 1874 in Kanawha Co. Does anyone know anything about the Thomas's in Kanawha Co around this time? Maybe a will or bible somewhere on the Thomases? Or on a census? His parents werent listed ont he marriage record. I also found a Henry R. Thomas who died in 1874 and was married to Margaret J. unknown. They had two children, Mary and Oscar. I don't know if they are related, but they might be because my g-g-grandfather's name appears on a bond in Margaret's name.
