I hope it is not to late! I am a descended from this Arthur Lowman, et al. I have published an edited version of his biography on findagrave.com memorial number 130419642. He is buried in Ottawa, Illinois - Summit View Cemetery. He had a son named Michael who moved to Sumner County, Kansas according to Arthur's biography. I have virtually NO information on Michael; however, Michael had a son Arthur who also had a son Arthur Chester Lowman, Jr. (they are buried in Ottawa, Illinois - Cavalry Cemetery). Arthur Chester Lowman, Sr. had a daughter, my grandmother, Lucille Lowman who married Gerald Billings and are entombed at the mausoleum of Oakwood Memorial Cemetery in Ottawa, Illinois. They all have memorials on findagrave.com, save for Michael (whose whereabouts are! unknown to me). My name Alison. I am interested in sharing information with other family members and/or talking to anyone with information about James Lowman or any other family members. Anxiously anticipating any responses. Does anyone know anything about the ancestry of Ralph Ware who was living in Shepherdstown in 1810? He married Mary Ann Pollock on 12 June 1798 in Berkeley county. I believe that he had at least two siblings – Andrew Ware who married Rebecca Farris and went to Kentucky and Nancy Ware who married William W. Watts and also went to Kentucky. I’m especially interested in learning who his parents were and where they came from.

They lived in Winchester, Frederick Co. I believe George is dead, not sure if mother was Alice, sorry. Bill had a young brother, Brian Shimp who would be 43 now. Bill would be early 60's. Have you checked the message boards for info posted there about them in Frederick Co, VA which is where they lived? Polly was an aunt of Elizabeth Shuler who lived with her in 1870 census, I believe it is. Polly left money to another Shuler sister, husband's great gm, Cornelia Jane Shuler Dietz. Seems to me she also left money to Nan Flannigain, another Shuler sister. We have/had a photo of Polly that was in a frame made by Jane's husband, Georg Peter Dietz. I think a nephew was also a beneficiary in Polly's will. Check the Frederick Co. board posts. You may have to go back a few years but there were about 3-4 of us posting on her and James. good luck, s Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Both are probably buried in Saint Peter's Cemetery in unmarked graves. Honora was born about 1790 and can be seen in the 1850 census, probably having passed away before 1860. She and Patrick had four known sons, Martin (circa 1812 - September 18, 1871), Patrick (born about 1820), James (circa 1826 - February 27, 1871), and Thomas Buchanon (circa 1834 - March 11, 1875). Martin, born Ireland, probably had a son named MIchael (married Mary "Mollie" Howard) who moved to PA shortly after the birth of his first son. Michael's mother and relation to this Martin is unclear. Patrick, was born in Ireland. James, born Ireland, married a Margaret. Thomas, born Virginia, married Annie Gertrude Murphy in 1859. Any information would be greatly appreciated! My father seems to remember a passenger list with them coming through the port of Philadelphia or a Virginia port, however I cannot find the documents to prove that.
