Hi, Could you please tell me if you have any Slaughter that may have married an Ann Arah (Anna) Cox? She was born Oct 1868 in Liberty Township, OH but was reared in Marion County, WV. where she shows up on the 1880 census. I have seen her name shown in family obits as Slater and Slaughter. Don't know if this is two husbands or spelling errors. I have a marriage record from Marion Co., WV, William Slater married 29 Jul 1886, Palatine, Marion Co., WV. I also have her death certificate 21 Dec 1935 which shows she was single but under married name it shows Slaughter. Don't know if that means she was divorced, separated, ex-husband or what. She apparently was also married to a Fleming as in one obit she was listed as Anna Fleming. She is on several census in Parkersburg, WV. Any help?
